tiny mix tapes' best of 2009
I’m naturally distrustful of sites that try to tell you what they believe to be the best of this or that, but I still feel they can be a valid source for acts I’ve never heard of. I’d read this site off and on, but never really paid attention to it or a whole lot of other record review sites for the most part, preferring to do my own investigating. Regardless, I like a good deal of the stuff TinyMixTapes recommends. If it wasn’t for their best of, I wouldn’t have found out about and downloaded a lot of good records from 2009 (ones by Social Junk, Blues Control, Harvestman, Kreng, and a few others, but mainly have listened to the aforementioned a lot lately).
